 Never underestimate how much one thing you eat can affect you. Eating healthy can help you in so many ways. A well-balanced diet provides the energy you need to keep active throughout the day and the nutrients you need to grow and repair your body, which helps you to stay strong and healthy. A healthy diet can also improve your attitude on life.   
 
Healthy eating starts with healthy food choices.  It doesn’t mean you have to deprive yourself of foods that you love, it just means that you need to balance the choices you make.  The more you learn about the different kinds of foods, the easier it will be for you to make those healthy eating choices.  Try out different recipes with your family using fresh ingredients.  Visit your local farmer’s market or produce store and try different types of fruits and vegetables.  Learn the difference between different types of grains.  Challenge your family to eat healthier together.  The more you learn, the easier it will be to make those healthy eating choices.
